When the opportunity arises, I dabble in documentary film (see below) – whether as editorial consultant to Mission Man Media, or to write a PBS proposal for a colleague, or working on my own film project, on why so many of the Holocaust survivors who remained in Eastern Europe joined the Communist Party as one step in rebuilding their lives.
Speaking of which, I’m open to taking on a partner to complete this long-standing “labor of love.” I’ve already created an oral-history archive of the dozens of interviews I’ve done. But if you can help me move forward on this film – while the survivors are still alive – I’d be happy to hear from you: mjjordan23@earthlink.net.
Likewise, for the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks – which I experienced while living in Manhattan – I plan to assemble the footage I shot then regarding American patriotism … the good, the bad, the ugly. Again, if you’d like to team up, drop me a line.
